Referral

We got a call today about a referral for an 18-month-old little boy. We were so excited! We waited and waited for the information which came while the girls were at their gymnastics class. I read the information and knew immediately there was a problem. In the medical, three different times, the physician said that the estimated age was incorrect. The little guy already had his two-year-old molars, and his estimated age was several months over two years old. Ben called our caseworker and told her he wanted to look over the information when he got home from work, but he was pretty sure we'd be turning down the referral. We'd just wrapped our brains around upping our requested age from twelve months to eighteen months, and now we were considering a referral for a little boy who could could be as much as three years old. - sigh -
